The City of Zsolnay

Unique world famous Zsolnay creations enriching the image of Pécs with lot of walking.

 

• Zsolnay Museum - The exhibition introduces the artistic products that have been made by the Zsolnay Porcelain factory since 1853 in a cronological order.
• Király street - Beautiful Zsolnay ornaments in the promenade with typical buildings from the late 19th century: Vasváry House, National Theatre, "Tramway memorial", Zsolnay Mall the Bazaar.
• Széchenyi square – Vilmos Zsolnay fountain, glaze, tiles, building ornaments in the main square of Pécs .
• Post Palace, Tüke fountain - The 100 year-old Post Palace and the statue/fountain with grapes of the true-born citizen of Pécs.
• Zsolnay Memorial Sculpture - The memorial was built to commemorate Vilmos Zsolnay who established the world-wide reputation of the Zsolnay factory with five sitting figures representing the factory's profile made by a special material, called pyrogranite.
